We developed this carrier and spin station to let you carry your spinning top with you when your out and have a nice surface to spin on. It is machined from billet aluminum and then anodized blue. The pocket for your top has been upgraded to a non-marring black plastic. We then line the inside with felt to add another layer of protection to your top. The two halves screw together with an easy to use thread. On the bottom of the carrier we installed a sapphire Kicker lens. The Kicker lens is a custom lens that we have built for us. It has a profile ground into it that is designed to increase spin times and helps keep your top centered on the lens. Sapphire will also protect the contact point of your top from damage.
Features:
• Billet aluminum construction
• Anodized blue
• Felt lining
• Sapphire Kicker lens
• Will hold tops 1.25" and down in diameter and as much as 1.25" tall
Happy spinning!

Our 38mm sapphire Kicker lens is the best lens on the market. We looked at the available options for spinning tops on and were underwhelmed by the available offerings so we designed our own. We have these made with a special profile we developed specifically for spinning tops on, the Kicker profile.
The Kicker profile is designed to keep your top centred and provide the least amount of drag possible on your tops contact point. The profile is nearly flat in the centre and gets steeper as it approaches the outside of the lens. This allows you to launch the top much more aggressively without having it fly away.
It's commonly said that sapphire is the third hardest substance on earth and while technically not true, it is only two steps down from diamond in hardness. The Kicker lenses are made from synthetic sapphire crystals which are identical in every way to natural sapphire. These lenses have shown a consistent increase in spin times over every other surface we've tried. The durability of the sapphire mean that this may be the last lens you ever buy. We haven't been able to scratch one yet.
There is a common misconception that because sapphire is so hard it will cause a tops contact point to wear out faster. This is simply not true. Extensive in house and independent testing has proven this. There are couple of reasons why this is the case.

- These lenses are made for us by a company that makes optical grade lenses. These lenses have an extremely smooth surface. Microscopically smooth. The smoothness of the surface means that there are no ridges to grind the contact point down and create drag.
- Sapphire is extremely resistant to heat. Regular glass and even borosilicate (PYREX) don't like heating and cooling. When a top spins it generates heat from the friction of the contact point on the glass. This friction causes micro-fractures in the surface which then break loose and become a grinding compound on the surface and makes a little pit with sharp corners. The glass dust and pit cause more heat and more fracturing. All of this causes wear on your contact point. Sapphire is able to resist the heat build up without damage saving your expensive top from damage.
